ToS: you are bidding for a picture of the Nokia 6230, the picture will be sent via email. By bidding, you are aware that the item is a picture.

I certainly would have read that as "Genuaine Picture" (sic)  mean thats the actual phone for sale and no a "library picture.
still read it as phone for sale  as says

"Phone has only been used a couple of times, is in great condition and is supplied boxed with battery, charger, stereo headphones / handsfree kit and 32mb MMC Card."

the bit at the end is a total rip off!

(Btw you can get these free on a £15pm contract anyway)

The winner bidder has posted the following negative feedback:
"SCAMMER WHO CONNED ME OUT OF £190.00 DO NOT DEAL WITH FOR ANYTHING"

The seller has de-registered and will doubtless re-register now as somebody else.

They should have checked on MSE!

If I had paid that and I found out where the person lived well I wouldnt go into detail about what I would do.

I know they said picture but that was definately a scam , otherwise why would they go into detail about the phone, a disclaimer in bold writing indicating that this is a picture, even then some people would knwo doubt fall for it. I mean who wants a flipping picture of a horrible looking phone anyhow?

This really does put an aution site in a bad light.
