Morning peeps and welcome to Friday :j
I did a lovely thread full of encouragement and wisdom (
) but then my laptop crashed and I lost it before it got as far as being posted
So to save myself doing it all again, you know what to do!!
Let us know what small steps you are taking on your journey to being debt free. They are not insignificant - they are steps in the right direction.
Today I will be:
- drying washing outside
- sticking to pasta week menu (cheesy vegetable pasta with sausage chunks)
- putting a couple of things on ebay
- checking online banking to see just how poor I am and updating snowball
- have just been round and turned lights off
Have a good day everyone, and enjoy the sunshine x

Yesterday we sold one of our properties that has been up for sale and empty since November, money is now sat in bank account offset against our mortgage.
Tenant free it was crippling us, £576.60 a month from our savings. Today I can properly get our spreadsheet up and running, and remove that house from the bottom of it, as it left us in the red every month. Also have to contact electricity, water companies etc.
Ive been doing the spreadsheet for over a year now, and it has never balanced properly. Im on a mission !!
dh is in charge of getting our meat and veg for the weekend, so this week Ive avoided Tesco. Im going to set up a kitty for him so we can keep track and see if we can go supermarket free where possible !!

BUT i have been very sensible and moved £20 into my not-really-a-saving-account- just use it for money i dont want to spend account to make sure that my budget still works and that i still have that £20 next week.
