Stand alone shower cubical

Options
Dear all,
I am looking for a stand alone (all 4 sides paneled) shower enclosure. Does any one know of any such brands?
I have had corner shower units which have leaked causing a lot of damage, I don't want to depend on any sealants any more.
thanx in advance.

How can you have 4 sides panelled? How would you get in?

Would the consideration of a wet room be out of the question?

Wet rooms that I have experienced in many hotels have been really good and well designed.

Try Novellini or Kinedo shower pods.

  • We had a Kinedo one a few years ago. It was Ok but nowhere near as good as a proper shower tray/screen. Much flimsier tray that was much higher up. Limit on how high you could place athe shower and they look ugly in a room unless you buy a very expensive one

Just get the room properly tanked and tiles sealed and use decent grout and sealants

You need your bumps feeling if you fit a product that comes from the same group that manufactures the odious and unrepentant saniflo. :D

Oh and I agree with sunshine. If a conventional shower tray with tiles is fitted and sealed properly it won't leak. They only leak when the installation is below par.

    Cheers

I'm no plumbing professional, but I'm inclined to agree. Do the job right and it don't leak...
