Take your time and I'm sure you'll do fine. One tip for the kitchen from having seen really bad DIY floor tiles - sorry if it seems really obvious to you but it clearly wasn't to the bloke I got this flat from!! Remember to take out any appliances and build the floor under them up level with the tiles so they can be pulled out quickly and easily if necessary.0

Yeah I would be removing sinks, toilet etc etc and tiling behind, as nothing worse than cookers and stuff not being able to be pulled out for cleaning behind.
One of the Youtube videos I watched (stop laughing) showed the guy using an angle grinder to shape the tiles  surely there must be something better/safer than an angle grinder to do that?0 -
anywhere you or someone else can recommend? I have a Wicks near me and B&Q but was thinking Wicks maybe the better choice?
I do not know, I've only tiled once, and had a couple of rooms tiled, hopefully a pro will answer that question. But I'm sure I've read here that Wickes are okay. Search the forum, I'm sure there are some recent threads on tile retailers.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0 -
there can be some good deals to be had at the sheds, but cheap tiles are just that cheap tiles, but don't buy cheap adhesive & grout or buy this from the sheds go to a tile shop & get some decent stuff, depending on the tiles the adhesive & grout may cost more than the tiles.I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

And in the bathroom, remove the bath panel, tile in under it a little, then shorten it and re-fit.0
