Jackomdj - great ideas thank you! I actually just broke his Thermos flask so probably would be good to get him a new one (if he can hold out that long!) I also might try and find him some extra warm socks as he is always complaining about being cold.
Also the diary is a brilliant idea - going to have a look now!! Will update with what I find

Touch screen gloves are available in Primark for £1.50, and they work
In my local one, they are near the christmassy little gifts, in the mens section.

He is a massive fan of tea and I found him a HIS LORDSHIP mug in Dunelm Mill for a few pounds so I think I might get him one.
On the diary front I found a couple of nice personal organisers which could work. Amazon are selling leather ones for £10-17 which isnt too bad. Think I will have a bit of a browse before I purchase though, got to make sure I'm getting the best deal! :money:0 -
Does he have a smart phone? I have a hubby whose a mid twenties guy into the same sort of stuff and I found something called AppControl on PrezzyBox and I Want One of Those. It was about a fiver and is a keyring but a old school joystick/control that attaches to the front of your iphone so you can play games. Also, if he's a smart phone user and watches films on his phone, there's something called an iWrench/iPlunger that attaches to the phone and keeps it propped up. Again, only a few pounds.
How about some weird and wonderful teas?
DIY wise, how about some cool multi functional screwdriver things. Poundland do lots of different tools and they're always good for the little multi-tools and they aren't actually too shabby. Hubs swears by them.
Phone cases?
Wind up torch? Couple of scratch cards? Does he like music/downloading? iTunes voucher maybe. What about an emergency phone charger? You can get them for £5+ online.

A couple of things I have come up with:
Gloves for using touch screen devices (my partner likes tech! need to find a pair that look nice and don't cost the earth now, suggestions welcome)
Nivea for Men shaving/skin care stuff (sort of for me too because I love the smell!)
headphone cable tidy
I managed to get the iTouch gloves in Poundland last yearCC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hemp hand cream is lovely. I bought some one year for hubby's aunt who lives on a narrow boat. I bought the smaller size that was £5 (might be more now) using a £5 Bodyshop coupon cut out of The Telegraph one weekend (keep an eye on the newspaper thread on discount codes board)0
