Yes no doubt it needs more creative thinking and some really good tips coming through including yours :T0 -
:rotfl: I've been wearing male long johns for ages, complete with aperture. My current silk pair are starting to ladder, so I'd have a double :eek: moment if I had an accident and needed admitting to hospital! They're all for ladies

When DS2 was very small, he kept pulling his socks off, and getting cold feet as a result. I put him in thick girls tights under his trousers, nice bright colours rather than white or girly pink. That worked!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I was a lady soldier, but many male soldiers including my husband wore women's tights under uniform in the cold. I remembered after my previous post that I bought my husband some great long johns and vest at a good price from Peacocks. They had white and blue and came in so useful because he works a lot outside during the winter. They also sell a good range of men's socks (thermal but not to thick).Mortgage: Aug 12 £114,984.74 - Jun 14 £94000.00 = Total Payments £20984.74

Got both peripheral neuropathy and peripheral vascular disease. I bought cashmere long woolen socks, they're nice and thin and keep you warm. Bit pricey but they've lasted well. M&S also do lambs wool knee lenght socks which are thin enough to wear with most shoes..
Instead of Ugg boots for which there's many fake items on the internet, I got a great pair from from Celtic Sheepskin in Cornwall. Made in UK, about £140 but not dear when you consider they've seen me through 6 winters .
Celtic also offer a repair and resole service if needed..0 -
BTW, from experience, if you have an accident, chances are you won't care what state your underwear is in, or what colour or style it is.They're all for ladies

I know they didn't need to take my trousers off, but when I shattered my shoulder, they could have put me in the ambulance in the altogether as long as they gave me something for the pain!
What's more, chances are they'll say "oh how sensible!" when they see your leg warmers / ladies tights / frilly long johns.Signature removed for peace of mind0
