  • I don't like the ones from ASDA, I find they don't smell as strong and don't last as long. Personally love Yankee ones, and I tend to buy on eBay a 22oz jar for £14.99 with free P&P!
  • I bought a berry yankee candle from Asda and it had no scent throw, burnt out quickly and "collapsed" so it was very messy. Wouldnt recommend the smaller ones but thr jars may be different.
  • yes they are yankees but the scent is not as strong

  • The Simply Home range are real Yankee just a basic version! Still made by Yankee but they have less oil in them and the are not the same as regular Yankee Housewarmer/Classic candles you find in Yankee stores, there's different fragrances! It's like the difference between Tesco's Everyday Value & it's Finest ranges! Some of the Simply Home range can be just as strong as the regular range. Some of the regular Yankees can have a weak throw too! It's also about personal flavour favour!

    Well put!
I read that the SH range fragrances are not as 'complex' as the standard range but if there's a fragrance you like they can be just as good as I find SOME Yankee's are not very strong either. I have a mix of both, more standard ones as they do more fragrances and as has been previously said, you can often get them for £15.
