Lloyds TSB gave me back my bank charges after only three days

:j I went in last Thursday to ask for help as my flat ate has moved out and the rent is well over half my salary. I've been robbing Peter to pay Paul and even got a payday loan. They couldn't help. Remembering what I'd read hear I asked for a printout of my charges. They could only give me them for this year. They came to £900. I copied they letter from here and two days later I got a phone call offering me £400 which will bring my overdraft within its limits. Does that sound fair to you? I just said thanks. :)

If you are in financial hardship, the banks will consider goodwill refunds to help you. There are no rules on what they should pay back as it is totally up to the bank. Getting a £400 refund and brining you back within your facility is a result. It is up to you if you force more. However, do be aware that goodwill payments can be withdrawn.
