Help with my UK insurance woes for my foreign import car.

If your sure its a GLS or Sol, declare it as a LHD grey import GLS or Sol. That is correct to the best of your knowledge therefore as good as the law requires.

I know its a pain to insure anything out of the ordinary, big UK companies are so inflexible. I wanted to buy an old London taxi but had to give up (for now) partly due to my age but mostly because 'computer said no'.

It is definately a 'Sol' and from the UK 2002 spec tables at the back of the brochure, i.e. what's standard, optional and not included, mine is an exact match for a GLS.

Do you have a links or backup to your statement, "That is correct to the best of your knowledge therefore as good as the law requires"?

Does anybody know what a 'GL15' trim level is? Toyodiy.com says that is what my vehicle has when I put my VIN number in.

Hmm, not sure you'd be able to legitimately say its a GLS then.

Well its what they ask you isn't it? 'Is all the info you've given correct to the best of your knowledge?'
