Barklaycard interest chaeges

I have noticed that Barklaycard charge interest on purchases from Amazon and recently from a payment to P&O cruises, although both transactions were made in sterling. Does anyone know why this is so.

Am I being billed in euros or us dollars which are then being changed into sterling.

Any advice guys.

Thanks

David.

Do you always clear your balance in full?

    P&O charge a 1.5% credit card fee.

The balance ic cleared by DD every month. The P&O payment was on the on board account, there is no charge for this, I have checked.

You'll have to give them a call. If the balance is cleared in full each month, then the only reason there should be interest is if there are cash like transactions.
