Edge Card, Balance Transfer

Hello All,
I have an Edge Card (I know, i am better now) which has £563 on it. Now i have been working on improving my credit rating and paying off all my debts for a while, and i have now managed to get a 0% interest card from Nationwide which i would like to transfer my remaining debt to so i can pay it off quicker.
However, my edge card isn't actually a card any more as the scheme has been close and the card i have is ecpired, so how do i go about actually doing the balance transfer, or am i stuffed?
Thanks
Gareth

Have you got the long card number, just use that and make up an expiry date in the future. I assume Santander just took over the card numbers fro GE.0

Ah ok, cunning plan.
Just to check, what would happen if it doesn't go through properly, will it just do nothing to my balance?
Gutted i don't have the card with me so i can do it right now, so itching to stop paying them their ridiculous interest and start making a proper dent in my debt!
Thanks for your help,
