    I'm still baffled as to what the problem actually is - are you saying the agent's size reads 12 feet 7 inches, and your measuring device says it's less than 12 feet 1 inch?

    It's their laser "tape" -

    As it has to count to 12 before carrying the one, the read out needs to be 01 02 to 09 and then 10, 11, then carry the one.

    12 07 is therefore 12 foot 7.
    Stop! Think. Read the small print. Trust nothing and assume that it is your responsibility. That way it rarely goes wrong.

    propertyman thanks for your reponse. It is indeed as you said. But I was surprised the confusion was caused by the agent who is working for last 6 to 7 years.
