Can anyone recommend any companies/policies that will offer buildings insurance for an empty/unoccupied property whilst it is up for sale?
The house will be empty, and I'm happy to check it regularly (weekly?) if required...

Have you already asked the current insurers?
When I was in this position, my insurer was The Prudential and they continued the insurance. They wanted it checked weekly.0
