Npower owe me £170 as in credit yet new d/ debit up £80 a month!! Idiots
Well looked at bank and noticed gas/ elec up from £113 to £190 per month yet 3 weeks ago when supplying readings I was told I in credit do I want a cheque.
Called complaints and got no explanation but we will reset to original and at this time I asked for the £170 chq as still ahead due to them robbing off me
They do a personal review with the 6 monthly bill and is so way out!!!! This company seem total Clueless so I suggest fellow users to check what there new mandate is
In 9 months ive used 2885 kw electric approx 320 p/months 12 months tells me 320 x12 - 3840 they reckon will be 4500
Gas wait for it !!! 890 cube mtre in 9 months - 9966 kwh from dec to march used 376 cube (4219kwh) so even if at worst 4219 x 4 - 16000 kwh approx
Npower are projecting 38700 kwh for 12 months
Total ridiculous no explanation when I asked

Just bear in mind that if you get your £170 back then you willstart the winter with a zero balance and almost certainly will exit next spring with a debit.
So do you want to pay that back next year with increased DD's or start to pay it now with a larger balance or higher DD's.0 -

yes but i will keep eye on my readings month to month and will ask them to increase when i notice my usage incresing at mo with my £170 back im still £80 in credit a company that can overestimate future usage by 2.5 times of actual are rip off merchants and no explanation backs it up0 -
In a similar position where the DD was calculated as £130 for dual fuel per month in may dispite me telling them that it was in property undergoing renovation....
last week I submitted 2 readings to the CS over the phone and was told I had used £113 in combined fuel...so less than 1 months payment...they have however agreed to lower my DD to £10 per month until it is reassessed in december but until then apparently I cant have any of the "built up " money back.... £537 a little flustrating as it would help with the renovation costs!!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0
