Cuba holiday

has anyone been to Cuba? We would like to travel to Cuba in December but are still not sure about it? Any comments? Is it an interesting country to visit? Are there other better places you can recommend for Christmas.

Been to Cuba before (twice, once at Easter and another at Christmas 2 years ago). The weather was generally good, around 25 deg C but we did have two very stormy days with torrential rain, out of a fortnight.
