Betta Living Kitchen Nightmare

Hi, first time post, hope I'm do this properly...
in late 2010 we ordered a fitted kitchen from a company called Betta Living. It’s cost me around £6000. (They had originally quoted £10,000. After six hours of pressure from a salesman and us repeatedly saying no, they dropped the price after an apparent phone call to management, we still said no and the salesman rang someone even higher up the company chain who made us an offer £4000 below their original quote).
They drew us up a lovely plan, which involved moving the sink from an internal wall to a point underneath a window, where the sink, washing machine and dishwasher would all fit beautifully as there was a drain outside this window. They even sent their surveyor (who’s fee I had to pay) to confirm everything was ok, and he confirmed that it was.
It turns out that the drain that they intended the sink and appliances to drain into was in fact a soakaway and it could not be used. The only alternative was to dig a trench from the soakaway and tap into the main sewage pipe 30 feet away.
By the time we realised this, our cooling off period was over and apparently there was nothing we could do about it. So they drew us up a plan for a kitchen that could not be fitted.
We have had around a dozen builders come and look at the job but every one has refused to take it on claiming that it’s too much trouble or they’re ‘too busy’.
Therefore we have had a £6000 kitchen sitting in our garage for two years and all the signs are that it will never be fitted.
I realise that this is probably a case of shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted but it's caused my partner and I so much stress and me especially thinking "why did I ever say yes to their salesman who spent over 6 hours at our house?"
