hi
complete diy novice so please bear with me while i try to get some help here!
we have a very small closet by our main door, which cant be used for coat hanging as it isnt deep enough. so thinking of converting it into
size of the cupboard is quite odd and none of the standard shelf units at B&Q / wickes / homebase are correct size.
if i can get one of correct size what do i do with the shelf supports. was thinking of having wooden supports as the metal ones which i have seen are quite long and that would reduce number of shelf i can put up. metal one look easier to put on!
questions are:
1) do i need to pre-drill the wood supports before drilling the wood. not sure how will i do it. we do have one 12V drill and drill set.
2) any other advise/ideas which might make this job easier?

I wait with bated breath on this as I could do with the same advice for a similar projectMan plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

If I understand what you want - I'd have a look at these "White Twinslot Shelving" on here http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Ironmongery/Brackets/d170/sd2230
that way you can have as many or few as you like and only have to attach two uprights to the rear wall.
Depending on the construction of the wall you may or may not be able to use your 12v set. (Not very helpful I know!)
