Forgot to say, I'm going to really get on the selling bandwagon today. I'm off to the Ideal Homes Christmas Show tomorrow and would like some spending money. I feel guilty spending my savings so if I sell stuff to buy new, that will ease my conscious :D

Where's the best place to sell a dining table?!

Logged in to email today after a weeks break to find I've been accepted by Tesco Home Panels. Although not paid in cash the clubcard points and free products will come in handy.

Intend to get back to surveys etc for the remainder of the week. A few things have sold on ebay and I've a mystery shop early next week.

  • Morning :) hope you are all well!!

I'm doing my own head in today trying to make decisions about houses and cars and stuff :o heart and head fighting the bit out :rotfl::rotfl:

Maybe some of you would be kind enough to give me an opinion??

I am due to be moving very soon as you know and i am going to need a car - mine is too expensive to fix atm and is not very economical but i love it :rotfl::rotfl: i'm sort of putting that on the back burner atm with the idea of getting a wee run around for about £500 which lets face it could be a bargain or a nightmare waiting to happen....there is no way i could get a car i actually like/want for that money so my dilemma is do i try to get more money in to get a better and less temp car? (bearing in mind £1000 will fix my own BUT it might need more work after that) or do i go with the £500 limit with the idea of changing it once i get more money together....

    a few facts:

My own car will cost about £400 to put through MOT just to get a list of what needs done to pass it - i am thinking £500 will get me on the road in a temp car.

My own car is a luxury and has poor fuel economy

I could get a better and less temp (hopefully) car for about £800 with better fuel economy and it would be closer to something i actually like

I can get my own car fixed and back on the road for £1000 - but it has had quite a lot go wrong with it - £1000 could make it like a brand new car or i might need to spend a bit more

I currently have no money to spend on a car whatsoever :rotfl: but mum has said she will lend me some

thoughts on a postcard please :D:D:D:D
