Last night I bought £53.82 worth of marked down fruit, vegetables and bread for £4.51. The woman at the check out was amazed. So was I. My teenage son was doing it with me and we laughed with manic glee all the way to the car! :rotfl::dance: Super-fun-frugal :dance:0

'Earned' 21.70 in a VAT refund today which will go into my sealed pot and also received 25 worth of coupons to take off my next shop - nice!
Edit to add: Actually it's 37.50 in coupons!! I missed a sheet
Just to check - it's not Tesco Clubcard vouchers is it? Just in case, because I know they have just been sent out.
Only spending Clubcard vouchers at face value off your shopping is the worst way to spend them.
They are worth up to 4 times the value on some rewards, and 3 x on others, so worth a look if there's anything you can use them on fir Christmas presents or things you need that you'd have had to spend cash on anyway.
or at least they are worth 2 x if there are categories relevant to you in their Double Up Scheme.
Sorry if your coupons are something completely different, but even so - worth everyone remembering with Clubcard vouchers anyway!
I've got another £3 to add from Pinecone vouchers, and £15.02 going into Paypal from Viewsbank - which is a few more £s than I thought I had but not complaining!! A few of those are thanks to you lovely lot that I 'sausaged' last month :A:D And £5 of it was for letting my address be used for quotes research, and I didn't even get any junk mail through, so literally money for nothingWhoop whoop!!
(PM me if anyone else would like a sausage)
I'm aware there's quite a few new joiners to the challenge, so just to explain, in case we are occasionally a bit sneaky about referrals , our code word is 'Sausage'!!
Or there is an official MSE referrals board too of course :cool:Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

Sorry Aesop, make sure you check your junk folder as that is where mine turned up.
For anyone who is already a member...how do i see how many points i have? I did the startup survey and in the email it said i would get 5000 bonus points, then when i'd done it i filled in my shopping for the last week and it said i had earned 1500 points this session. The logged out and logged in again and it said earned 0 points this session, so where do i see my total i have? I understand that it will show my session ones as 0 but where's my running total?0 -
Monkeynut...it won't let me PM you until you delete some of your already existing PM's. Cheers:)0
