Sorry to say it but they really were the worst ones and still are as we are still struggling to meet their demands!

We worked out how much cash we had a month to go towards debts. We then worked out how much of that money would go to each company based on percentage.ie, who we owed the most to got the biggest payment.

We didn't receive replies from HSBC regarding our letters. They did however, keep adding charges to our account. We kept phoning them to ask if they were aware of our situation and had they received our letters. They claimed they had not received any of our letters and just kept demanding huge payments.

In the end, we asked them for a settlement figure. They will knock off a chunk of your debt if you agree to pay them the agreed figure in no more than 6 monthly payments. We decided to borrow the money from a relative and just pay them off as they were so much trouble. If we hadn't done this, they would have just kept adding charges and massive interest.

***HUGS***.....I'm in a similar boat to you............my circumstances just don't tick all the boxes! I get by, and I have real down days, I seem to work for nothing and sometimes I wonder why I bother.........but right at this moment.............life feels fine.............I'm skint (current bills all paid).........I'm single (don't want to be)...............BUT I have a job that I hate/love at the same time (I don't understand that either)......... a second job that MIGHT be lucrative, and a THIRD job that SHOULD be lucrative........but it all seems so 'wait and see' if you know what I mean??............but I have great kids (2 left home, 2 with me), a gorgeous grandaughter and great friends.................so lets raise a glass to the good stuff...........we can and will deal with the bad!! ***HUGS*** again!
