Cavity wall insulation leak under the floor
Had CWI done 2 years ago, and it has definitely reduced the heating consumption. However during a recent look under the floor by a surveyor (re floorboards) he reported a massive amount of CW insulation had leaked under the floor in one area. Should I be concerned about this and if so what should I do?
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Surely the surveyor should have been the one to answer that question.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Maybe but he was a specialist in woodworm etc not doing a general survey. He didnt express a view apart from making sure the airvents were clear.0

what sort of insulation was used?
The danger is that a section of wall will have an empty space, perhaps at the top of the wall, which as well as leaking heat may form a black mould condensation zone.0 -
The worry is how big is the gap is came through, did it push some bricks out when it was injected. Best to work out where is came from and repair as if its more than a brick there might be quite a problem.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0
