Selling A Car On Ebay - Fees

Can anybody help me please? I am selling my car through ebay via a friend who has done this before. The friend has asked me for some money to list the car. However he has asked me for a price that is higher than what the ebay selling fees says. Ebay is saying £10, I've been asked for more than double this. I know that I have to pay £20 final fee if the car sells, but I know my friend will ask for this money as well.

Can I double check that it is only £10 to list the car please as I can't see where the price I've been told comes from

It's only £10 for a basic listing if you've added a reserve another £8 and/or a BIN another £3 this would explain the differences.
Much better to list as a classified ad £15 for 28 days

If you don't trust your friend about the fees maybe you should consider other options for selling.
