2yr old unworn jacket with faulty zip. Any chance of an exchange?

    Thanks for all your replies.

    I could find out who i purchased the coat from by going back through my cc statements. However, as its been so long im sure its too much of a long shot with the retailer.

    I emailed the manufacturer last night. I think this is my best chance. Havent had a reply yet - no news is good news!

    Is it a metal retainer? You might be able to prise the edges apart. Probably worth putting it into very hot water first. Same if it's plastic, get it hot then prise it gently apart.

    Yes its metal and is the type that looks like the bit of the zip you pull up to do the coat up. Priseing it apart wont work because not only are the edges not parellell, the top edge is slightly off to the side. thanks for the suggestion tho.

    I guess all zips can be replaced but i think its a major job!


    Still no reply from the manufacturer. They are either thinking about it or just not giving me the time of day!!
