change prepayment to quarterly

I would like to change my Scottish Power gas and electricity prepayment meters to take advantage of the fix before the price hike.

I have read on other forums that I must pay for the meters to be removed and I have to pay a deposit.
How true is this?

Can anyone tell me who is the cheapest supplier to move to in the long run.

it depends on how you have behaved with your supplier, if the meters were fitted for debt etc
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Hi dj_ad1200 We will charge a fee per meter for actually changing your meters and we may ask to do a credit check depending on how long you have been our customer. We may thereafter ask for a security deposit in addition to the meter change fee. If you would like some specific help please e-mail your details to onlinecomplaints@scottishpower.com and I can assist.
