Advice Please

I have bought two items off Ebay from the same seller who has excellent feedback although in Hong Kong. They were within 2 days of each other, and as the terms of the sale says, I delayed payment to wait for the revised invoice as if ordering more than one item there is reduced postage. I heard nothing, albeit I only left a day longer after the second item was won, (due to payment requested within 3 days.) I then emailed the seller asking for him to send the revised bill, but heard nothing. Waited another 24 hours and still no revised bill or contact. I suppose I could take it upon myself to adjust the payment on check out with a note, but not too keen on doing that as it wouldn't be in keeping with the terms and conditions. Where do I stand on this? Or what should I do?

Personally I would just wait for the seller to send a revised invoice.

Does it tell you what discount they offer?

Yes, the postage is a pound on the first item, and for each additional item it is 50p. Hardly a vast amount I know, especially as the two items (beads and a stone) were only around £2-3, but finances are poor so even that 50p saving is something. I always try to think that maybe they have taken ill suddenly or something, but was just concerned about the 3 days to pay thing.
  • As they state the discount offered it would be OK to amend the invoice accordingly.

However, it is a little worrying that they haven't replied. Are the items expensive?

As above, the whole total is under a fiver. The only other thing is that they would be coming from Hong Kong. That is no problem as I have ordered things from that part of the world before, and the items have arrived. I think I will probably give it til Monday, and if I have heard nothing, try the amendments.

As they request payment within 3 days and you know the discount I would go ahead and amend the invoice.

If they don't like it they can always refund the payment and you can start again with their revised invoice. If they don't want buyers amending the invoice they should block their ability to do this

Just heard from him at last. Apparently he can't do revised invoices for combined orders if they are in separate currencys. Mine was in pounds and dollars, despite both being on the UK Ebay. He has adjusted one of them to compensate so all has ended well and I will be able to go ahead. Thanks everyone anyway for your suggestions.
