rejected ppi claim but they are still taking payments

A bit of advice needed please. Aprox 18 months ago I contacted Barclays regading my ppi on my littelwoods credit card (Ihad been successful in getting it back from my barclaycard) but they turned me down. I did not take it further which I should have done, but heard how long it was for FOS to take action.

With putting in a claim to get my ppi back I assumed they would have cancelled my ppi as in the form I had stated this was an insurance I did not need but I have just received a statement from them still showing that I am still paying 13.00 per month. Should they have stopped the ppi when I put in the form to request this money back, and do you think its worth trying to claim it back again.

Thanks
Michelle

Some providers assume a complaint is that you dont want it. Others do not. Ironically we have seen people on this board complain that the provider stopped it when they didnt want it stopped.

Unless you told them to stop the premiums they would continue unless they took it upon themselves to stop it themselves. They didnt. So, did you at any point in your complaint tell them to stop the cover?
and do you think its worth trying to claim it back again.

You get one bite at the cherry. You are now timebarred from taking the complaint to the FOS and they can just refer any future complaint you make back to their original decision.
