No paperwork and over six years ago

How do all, first time poster so please be gentle, I've tried searching for answers online but quite frankly get lost in the volume of information available, none of which seems to apply to me.
I had several loans and credit cards between 1999 and 2004, all came with PPI, most I didn't really understand what I signing up for as I was young and foolish.
As its over six years ago none of these loans show on my credit report when I check Noodle/Experian. Like wise I don't have any paperwork, being honest I couldn't tell you how many separate loans and PPIs I had as several we re-financed or consolidated.
The companies involved were:
Halifax
Halifax Creditcard
Barclaycard
Citibank loans
Capital One
Any advice as to if its still possible and the best way of going about claiming.
Cheers

Hi and welcome
First of you you do not require the paperwork to make a reclaim.
If you are sure you were sold PPI and have reasons to make a reclaim (mis sold the PPI), you can continue to make the reclaim by complaining to the responsible bank/business who set up and sold the finance to you.
Although it would be handy to have the account numbers.
You can try tracking down the details of the account number by old monthly bank statements, the account number is normally shown next to the monthly repayment.
Or if any of the banks are local to you, passing by call in, as they can try tracking down the accounts for you.
To make a reclaim, use the complaint questionnaire below, keep copies in case you need to go back to them at some point.
Good luck.
