Hot Air Brush? I can't blow dry!

I definitely recommend a spinning hot air brush. The latest models incorporate ionic technology for making hair frizz free, more manageable and adding shine. The ceramic barrel eliminates hot spots and prevent hair damage, which is the risk if you use hair irons.0

I recently bought the Babyliss big hair, it's one of the best hair stylers I've ever had, highly recommend it! I have mid length hair so don't know what it's like for longer hair.0

Thanks all. My hairdresser recommended that I get one this morning, I liked the look of the Nicky Clark anti-frizz one but the Amazon reviews are mixed.
I came to MSE for the truth and I'll be taking a closer look at the Babyliss big hair one nowValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

On the Boots website, the Babyliss Big Hair 2775U has a code (stated next to the item on the Boots site) to get £5 off at the moment, making it £39.99 rather than £44.99.
My son is a staff member so I was lucky and got an extra fiver off, making it £34.99A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -
Gotta say I tried it on my mid length hair and wasn't impressed - seems to be much better for longer hair. Currently in the back of the cupboard0

I tend to wash my hair about every two days - is the hot air brush useful for perking hair up on the second day, or is it just best used on newly washed and partly dried hair?A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0

Well, I picked up my Babyliss hot air brush from Boots last week and it is wonderful! Wish I had taken the plunge before. I was a bit worried it would be a white elephant but it is so easy to use - I got good results at the first attempt.
I can answer my own question above now - it makes your hair feel bouncy and as though it has just been newly washed and styled when used on the second day after washing on dry hair that has got a bit flattened and sticky outey overnight. I feel as though I need never have a bad hair day again.
The best thing is that it takes hardly any time to do either.A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -
I am thinking of getting the babyliss big hair - have reserved in argos because my hair seems to have gone from really shiny to dull and frizzy.
Will this 'fix' my frizziness? And has anyone found the can go longer between washing since using this? My hair used to only need washing every 3 days but now it's awful after just one!
Also, would using this eliminate the need for straighteners? Because this is more than likey the cause of the frizziness!
Lastly - can I leave my hair to air dry until it's 95% dry or is is recommended to use the dryer?
Sorry for all the q's!0 -
