Will the mortgage surveyor come on a specific date??

Does anyone know the normal procedure? Does the vendor need to arrange a specific date and time??

If its a drive by survey then no. If not they will need an appointment to gain access.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

The surveyor normally calls the agent to arrange access. He will not turn up unannounced.I am a mortgage broker. We've just had a Homebuyers Report done on the house we were buying. We had it added on to the valuation our mortgage provider required and they arranged the date and time through the vendors EA.
We had absolutely nothing to do with when this was arranged, in fact the first we even knew the survey was going to take place was when the surveyor phoned from the house to ask if there was anything specific we wanted looking at.
