You could do a facebook "offer" which is a new thing they are rolling out - it is free to do I think - or at least free for the first one. People who like your page can take the offer which gives them either an online code or a coupon to print out and bring along to the shop. Haven't used it yet myself although keep meaning to.0

From the research I've been doing, I've not found any hard evidence that Facebook (or Twitter) brings a good ROI, in my opinion it was hyped up by online marketeers, who got all excited about social marketing....
Personally I think Facebook is in slow decline, people are getting fed up with it being too commercial, and also disregarding users' privacy. They are now too pushy, they have to make money at all costs.
I've been active on pinterest, lots of followers, repins, quite a few visits, but no direct sales.
I'm also looking at using Twitter for customer service, but it depends on your customer base.0 -
Pinterest is also working for me because people seem to be repinning a lot of my pictures. It's hard using Facebook and Twitter to acquire customers but it's good for keeping current customers involved.0
