Leave Boiler On / Water Off.

I have a solid fuel boiler. Normal set up, tank in loft, that feeds the hot water tank. Small tank in loft for radiators.
So, going away for a few days.
Is it ok to leave boiler on, BUT turn off stopcock, or should I be leaving the water on?
Thoughts please.

Why would you want to turn the stopcock off, out of interest?0

As a precaution, to avoid any possible leaks on the cold mains, eg. any ball valves that might be dripping.0

If you are going to shut the water off then shut the boiler down too.

Hi
Who's going to load the boiler while you are away?
