On a cold night like this, kick the dog out on his own while staying in front of the fire with my slippers on.

  • I was thinking that no dog walking outfit is flattering. Maybe someone will come up with the answer.:)

Skinny (dirty) jeans, (dirty) wellies, fluffy socks, long sleeve t-shirt, at least one fleece, thick waterproof jacket (currently muddy) with a hood, poo bags and training treats.

I'd like to point out that "dirty" means muddy, usually up to my knees at this time of year. Strictly CD has nothing on my mud-moves :rotfl:

Cheapo Asda sports type trousers, hoodie, (thermal t-shirt yesterday!) traditional green wellies.

So far though, we've only been on "walks" in my garden :rotfl::o Once he is settled properly, it will be walks in the park, woods and beach - the outfit will remain the same though: there is no vanity when out walking a dog in mud and damp.

The great thing about dogs is they don't care what you look like, it doesn't embarrass them unlike children.

I have done pjs too, often. I don't wear them in bed, but the fleecy ones are warm, very quick to dry after washing and comfortable when you are cold and tired. It's not a good look.

Otherwise it's usually tracksuit trousers. Not an attractive look.

Always with muckers in winter, and plimsolls in summer. With a horrid blouson 'equestrian' jacket, (least flattering garment in the world but room for dozens of layers underneath.)

One of my problems with is is I sometimes have to meet clients and potential clients while in outdoor garb. I am afraid the same muckers and jacket get worn, but with jeans. I really need some smarter dog walking and work clothes, but the clincher for me is always thAty fleece and tracksuits wash well and dry quickly and are cheap, it's hard to argue with those factors.

Green wellies, leggings or jeans or PJs, Hoody and Ski jacket. Poo bags hanging out my pockets and a giant torch this time of year. Oh and the dog.
