  • I'm just jumping on here..I had a debenhams store card which I took out in the late 1990's so pre-Santander days and which I paid off somewhere around 2006/7.

is it best to contact Santander first and see where I go I'm getting slightly confused with the whole Genworth thing, is it not just best to contact them first?

I've been thinking of reclaiming Debenham store card for a while now just wondering the best way of attack!:D

Genworth are taking complaints on behalf of customers now but passing them on to Santander.

I spoke to Genworth about a month ago to query what information they had as Santander had messed me around with a SAR. They replied to me with some information. They asked if I'd like to complain about the PPI policies, which I accepted. 2 weeks ago Santander wrote to me with all of the relevant forms which have been sent off and are being investigated.

In terms of who is the best to complain to - Santander in the first instance as Genworth will simply pass it on - I only went through this route for convenience as a follow up from a query to Genworth.
    Competition wins:
    2010 - approx £450. 2011 - approx £800. 2012 - approx £300. 2013 - nothing so far!
