existing customer offers from cap 1

i have a capital one premier card - thankfully not the 29.9% one. last month i cleared my balance after my 0% ran out. i am planning on sticking it in a draw and not using it hoping they wll send me a low apr cheque or offer me a decent balance transfer offer by aughust when my halifax one is due to expire.

has anyone ever had any luck for an existing offer from capital one?

If you don't hear anything worth giving them a call and asking what they'll offer, loads of people on this board have done it in the past. Going to do it when my 0% runs out for a low Life of Balance to pay off a loan

yeah i tried that after i paid it off and they said no way! so i thought i would wait.

Don`t think Cap One have any history of roll on offers, it`s better to cancel & become eligible 6 mth later for any new customer offers (0%18mth etc) thats what worked for me.
