fed up with collections

I was doing OK with collections both with Facebook and Ebay and listed a few bits and pieces, and supposedly have 2 facebook collections and one ebay this morning.
I told them all I was going out at 10.30 and they all agreed they would be here before that- guess what- no shows whatsoever.
The facebook stuff is easy, I'll just let the admin know and relist the items. The ebay one though is irritating as it is slightly too expensive to write the fees off, and of course doing any sort of NPB on a collection item where I was hoping for cash is problematic.
Why don't people even have the courtesy to let me know if they can't come? they have my phone number for emergencies.
