While the difference is about 50% on relatively low value items, is it is worth the extra over say a 3 to 5 year period?
Is there a noticeable difference in bathroom and normal emulsion in bathroom areas?

Bathroom paint doesn't absorb water/steam as much as ordinary emulsion thats why its more expensive0

You will certainly notice a difference over time. Quick drying eggshell is the best paint for bathroom walls and ceilings where steam and water ingress will invariably cause problems with vinyl matt. You can also use vinyl silk in bathrooms if you want to save a couple of ££ but it's not as durable as eggshell.0

I kept getting mould on a small part of the bathroom ceiling, got the Dulux paint for bathrooms and kitchens, have never had the mould back0
