Arrrrgggghhhhh ........ shhhhhhhhh it's the "f" word again ...... we don't do that here ...... congrats on the OD tho!

We never ever use the 'f' word on here  We do our very best and sometimes life just gets in the way but every NSD is a good NSD, so, regardless if we hit our target or not, we are focusing on our finances and that's gotta be better than before :)

  • It was a good day yesterday - NSD#3 and managed to go for a run - have signed up for a 10km Wolf run in April and the training hasn't really started yet! :o

I've brought lunch with me to work today to avoid the Friday chip shop run but am going climbing tonight which will involve buying some cake - does it count as a spend if the money has already left my bank and is in cash?

Tomorrow will definately be a spend day as I'm having take away with some friends - yum!
No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.
    Target for 2018 = 7/21
No more buying DVDs ? 2018 target 27/52

  • Had to spend yesterday as desperately needed some printer paper and some other stuff but that's fine as it was needed and not just wanted :) Am thinking it will be a NSD today though as I am not going anywhere and don't need anything now.

The big test will be next week when I am stuck in a hotel for two days on a training course. Pray for The Lincs Effect haha.

Will report back to claim another NSD later all being well :)

  • Spent already ..... I've been out!:j

Honestly, just a very quick trip as had to pick up a prescription from the chemist - stopped at the co*op on the way back & managed to get a YS chicken (will be going in the oven in a sec!) and some trashy mags :o

Feels good .... but need a lie down

  • Well, I was hoping that yesterday would be my first NSD but at about 10:00pm after a little wine ordered some moisturiser on the internet (which I did need but could have waited for another day)as had completely forgotten about the NSD. :(

Right, today definitely won't be a NSD so am aiming for Saturday! Keep your fingers crossed for me! Quick question though.......if I put aside some money from today for something I need to buy on Saturday will Saturday still count as a NSD or not? :o

    Thank you!

  • Webitha that's fantastic! Well done you.

And rising, sounds like getting out and about is the biggest triumph you could have today, spend or no spend.

I forgot about my brother's birthday and then realised that I had to order something today to get it to him by the day (he lives in a different country from me) so there went the day. So I thought sod it, and bought myself a nice Friday lunch. I've gone from buying out every day to once a fortnight, though, so I don't feel that guilty.
