Morning all! Nice sunny day here!
Worked as supply teacher yesterday. Was asked to teach Year 4, which I've no experience of (I'm an infant teacher by training and experience), but was PROMISED it was a lovely school (think leafy green village), so went along, with some mis-givings.
AND THEY WERE THE CLASS FROM HELL! Seriously, the worst behaved children I've ever encountered. Said as much to my agency when I got home as well, who were mortified and very apologetic.
Asked some KS2 teachers I know, and yup, Year 4 are notoriously awful (it's that "middle of the school, just a bit too comfortable" thing.
Anyway, I survived, and got well paid for my trouble.
Not working today, so I shall start on a list of household jobs that's been stacking up a bit. The living room looks like a tip!
Aiming for a NSD today (yesterday was a fail), but I shall report back on that later!Because it's fun to have money!

thank you Heffi1, ETO, solvent
Solvent and Rising - yes yes!! I abhor Christmas, I am the ultimate Christmas Grinch, the shops are unbearably busy and how much food can people possibly need?? and why am i always stuck behind their food trolley train?! I could go on... but dont tempt me.. i will end up that person who just moans non stop.
luckily my family has an agreed pact that we all get drunk on the eve of the 23rd and dont sober up till the 27th where we all go our separate ways. this means that we can all tolerate each other for this amount of time and can seem almost human... so long as no-one starts a game of monopoly! :rotfl:
i am good at thinking of presents, what inspiration would you like?

Bought a Costa mocha today - really needed the caffeine. I used to buy one at least three times a week as we have a costa at work. So onew in three weeks or so is good going me thinks. (And I went for the small). So I bought a stylus for my fone and for OHs too. So that's £3.13 today. Hopefully no more spends today. Well done on those that have gotten their first NSD !:jMay Grocery Challenge : 64.81 so far
