What is a hump day please?

It's half way through the week marmite. Up the hill to Wednesday and it's all downhill from now on to the weekend:D
I was a tad worried with some of the earlier posts.I could feel the presence of the dark side in a few posts, which seemed dangerously close to using the 'F' word.

Luckily this was not to be.
I think it's the thought of the mouldy kipper and the soggy paintbrush.... it's putting everyone off using the "f" word:rotfl:

    Hello all :hello:

I'm so sorry i missed last weeks update, I do hope you'll forgive me???

It's been a rough couple of weeks, things got that bad at work that i had a bit of a breakdown & am now signed off. For the first week i literally couldn't face talking to anyone at all, which i why i have been awol, but i've had some TLC off my fabby dad & am starting to feel slightly better now, thank goodness!

I have to admit i've got no idea where i'm up to with my NSD's, i've probably beat target seeing as i've barely left the house, but counting has been at the bottom of my list of things i needed to do, so think i'm just going to abandon this month & start again in December.

Anyway, update time, so watch this space it shall follow shortly....

    Hi hun
Nothing to forgive, don't be daft.

I'm so sorry you're going through such a carp time, I really hoped things were going to get a bit better for you from now on.

I hope you're going to be sensible and take as much time off as you need to rest and recover and have lots of tlc from your lovely Dad.

    Sending you some hugs.
    xx

    Hello everyone!
What is a hump day please?
Ohhhh I feel better now Marmite as I had to ask this on another thread last week :)

It's Wednesday - as it's the middle / hump of the week.
It's half way through the week marmite. Up the hill to Wednesday and it's all downhill from now on to the weekend:D

The middle of a work week (Wednesday); used in the context of climbing a proverbial hill to get through a tough week.

  • I'm out for this month. And with such a modest target, too. We have had a million unexpected and unplanned-for expenses this month, due to a sudden death in the family, so things have gone to pot.

No idea how December is going to play out, but I'll give it a shot.
