6 years have passed how long before IVA history is removed from Credit File

I currently have an IVA albeit it was settled early in 2010, I understand the IVA stays on your credit file for 6 years.

My question is it removed automatically on it's 6th year anniversary?

    I had to send off a copy of my certificate to the credit ref agencies to ensure everything was off I would get a credit report from them all and make sure everything is off it with the defaults you had with the iva.
