Simple webcam needed

Hi all,

I have logmein ignition which allows me to control my laptop from my iphone.

I would like a program to turn on my built in camera on the laptop and display it on the screen, in full screen mode if possible. Then I could easily log in to my laptop and view my home when away to check all is ok.

Does anyone know of a such a program, or does windows 7 have one built in already?

Thanks

try this free one too http://teboweb.com/WebCam.html

This one cost money but works very well with many useful features. Does work with usb cameras and records sound too. the good point is that it can start recording many seconds before the event has happened and stop recording many seconds after movement has stopped, plus a whole load of features that someone will use.

Who said anything about holidays and burglars?

For the record we have recently got a rescue dog. She does not respond well to been left alone.
We are unsure if she settles when we are out as she chews.

Apologies for not mentioning this in the original post . |I thought it irrelevant and assumed people would simply answer the question of which software to use rather than make unwanted judgments based on incorrect assumptions.

Thanks to all who have recommended programs that I could use. I will look into them now.

Ah, dog movement. Well the free ones will record all dog movement and you could end up with a very long video of twitching ears, but most do have sensitivity control ;)

A few of the paid for types ones have zones which if something moves in the zone then it starts to record. So you could not record you dog when it drinks water, or lays in its basket but start recording when it visits the window.

Personally i'd stick with the free ones and use fast forward.
