as if by magic, staywarms letter arrived today, informing me about the 15% reduction in two stages, but I noticed the wording was something like "to be able to use as much gas and electricity as you like etc". Which surprised me because people had suggested that if you use too much, you are penalised.

very energy conscious aren't they at powergen i'm sure they should be more carfuel with how they phrase that. If you use too much they will at your annual assessment put you on a high user tariff under staywarm's new banding system. I would complain to staywarm as this is bad advice0
