Hi,
I've just been looking for a transfer in Tenerife for 12 and found that https://www.keytransfers.com came out with the best price by far. I believe they are a new company and wonder if anyone out there used yet? Cheers.

Never heard of them, but will keep them in mind."Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0

Be careful with some pre-booking sites, I saw one for disneyland Paris - CDG £200 return. You can get bus £60 or taxi £120 without booking from what I have read!:beer:0

And be very careful. We booked a 2-way transfer and to the resort was no problem. However, once when we where picked up for our return transfer it didn't turn up so we had to pay for another taxi and another time we were waiting outside the hotel, taxi turned up, we presented our pre-paid ticket and he said yes, got to the airport and he demanded payment. We said we had shown him our receipt and he was happy with this but this changed once we were in the cab. He pulled up short of the terminal and starting making a comotion. Some locals came over and interpretted for us and it appeared that he was not our taxi and had no connections with the company we had booked with, just an opportunist taking advantage of niaive holiday makers.
We were advised to pay the fare as if it got nasty the police would be called and we could miss our flight! This was in Crete.
So now we never book return taxis as they are so easy to pick up locally especially in Tenerife (even from the airport there are always lots of taxis waiting for the independent traveller and even if you have to go in separate cabs I am sure it wouldn't cost you much more) and at least you know you will only pay ONCE.
Some time since we had a taxi but I would imagine around 10 - 15 Euros one way.
Good luck and happy holidays.0 -
Thanks guys, it turns out keytransfers are agents for resorthoppers so went ahead and booked and confirmation came from resorthoppers. I've booked with them before and they are very good. I take your point dylel about watching the price and I always shop around and compare, this one works out about £9.90 each return to playa de las americas in a private coach for 12 so not bad. They insist that we confirm the return journey by phone the day before pick up so I think we'll be ok Beansy, fingers crossed.:beer:0

I have also heard from friends that pre-booked taxis have a habit of not turning up for the return - easy money for them since u r in a rush and can't sort it out at the time:beer:0
