Anything such as Free Business A/cs ?

Are there any FREE business accounts available. I will probably deposit less than £100 a month. maybe withdraw once a month.

I dont need any overdraft limit, loan etc. Just require something busy to take in a small amount of money for a cleaning company

You can go online and check the offers with the main banks, or do a google search. Offers change all the time, so info needs to be checked to be relevant.

If the company is a limited, registered one, you will need a decent credit history for the directors.

    Good luck

  • Try HSBC business direct account. Free so long as you don't use it loads, should fit what you want.

I don't think any of them will be free for much longer. I have a Santander current business account and reserve business account and they have both been free since 2007 but they are now trying to introduce charges to existing accounts (although their first attempt went down so badly that they canned it) and if you're a new customer you'll only get up to 18 months free but then it's £7.50/month. HSBC is the same

You can use it loads for free as long as the "loads" is electronic banking (online banking, BACS, ATMs etc). It is only over counter services which you have a low limit of and high fees for exceeding the limits.

I'd certainly vote for HSBC Direct for any business that isnt cash/ cheque heavy thus can do almost everything electronically.
