ppi claim

Does anyone know where to go next with my ppi claim. Contacted GE money who had all the details, however could not proceed with claim as the broker living Design has ceased trading. They suggested I contacted FSCS. The FSCS told me that no compesation could be given for claims before 2005 (mine finished Dec 2003). As far as I am aware there are not supposed to be any time limits. Any suggestions what to do next please!!!??

I dont think it is a case of time limits.

I think it is a case that 2005 is pre regulation.

There are no time limits at this time but there are key dates which can affect the ability to complain. In this case, you purchased prior to insurance regulation and FSCS protection that started for cases signed up from January 2005.

Its game over. the company you need to complain to no longer exists and you bought before FSCS protection began.
