It's OK. One of the approaches that is sometimes used is to apply for a few at the same time so they can't see if you got the other one.
  • Thanks for that ..

  • Up date got both cards, then also appied for a aa credit card and also got that one as well..:j don't know if my credit rating is good but i guess is must be to get 3 new cards in a month...

I think i will not need to get any more now but only to balance tranfer to different cards when the 0% runs out..

or should i try my luck and try to get another card ??

How are you going to fill these cards up? spending or BT's?

Well really all you need is one card at a time for spending. If you use up all of your available credit the now - what are you going to transfer to / spend on when these deals end.

Best spending a card to it's limit then just beforehand getting a new card and stop spending on the old card. Otherwise all cards will need to be paid off around the same time, give or take a few months, then you need to start again.

The short answer is Yes, you have.

    all you've done is a kind of "app-o-rama" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/App-o-rama

it won't have harmed your credit record permanently by any means, so don't worry on that score; by the time you need a new BT card these'll all be long forgotten. The only problem is what the previous poster pointed out -- you only need one card at a time to spend on, so you're wasting some of those valuable free months with your second spending card.
  • Hi thanks for replies, i no i don't need 2 credits card i applied for 2 because i thought i wouldn't get a high credit limit but i got £4600
so my spare card my partner is going to use. (so not wasted...)
