We get a text if the child has bumped their head, and a phone call if its serious. Plus the child has a sticker "I bumped my head today"Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -
We've had this scanario yesterday. My 6 year old has come home with a cut across his eyelid. He's informed me that another little boy has kicked a football and hit him in the eye. Apparently he has told the dinner lady who said "oh you'll be ok" and then the teacher who said the same thing,
As a trainee teacher I know that these things happen and it more than likely was an accident, however i'm not happy that we were,nt told or given a "injury slip". The cut itself is only minor, but is also slightly swollen.
Due to my sons older brother collecting him yesterday, I didnt know anything about it until I returned him. It is now half term here so I have taken a couple of pictures of his eye and will be speaking to his teacher when school starts again.
I'm not going to kick up a big fuss or go to the head etc. But I do think that parents should always be notified in these instances.0
