Gift cards are weird as you can only pay with them if your ordr is less than the value of card IYSWIM?
So if you have £30 on card, you can place an order for £29.99 and it will leave 1p on your card, but you cant pay for an order that is £30.01 as it cant take 2 different payment methods
Found this out t'other day. i got round it by phoning customer services and they processed it for me as 2 orders and were very helpful; I did get the feelign tho that they probably shouldnt have done it for me, but you could try your luck!!

Thanks for this. I didnt realise I couldnt use a giftcard and pay for the remainder on credit card, so this explains why I was having so many problems!
With all the postings by claire21 I am sure I will be spending the card soon:rotfl:
