New Barclaycard BT for existing customers.

Just logged into my account today and see they have updated their BT deals for me. They are now offering BT until May 2014 at 3.9 fee or o% November 2013 2.9% fee and August 2013 2.9% fee.

Have you got a £0 balance? My only offer is still at July 2013 which is an offer I took advantage of in August (at 2.9% handling) so I have an 0% interest balance. I think they tailor the offers specifically based on your account usage but it's a good indicator.
  • My Barclaycard is currently offering 0% until May 2014 with 3.9% fee. I am shopping around today to BT £11,000 from Virgin, as 0% on purchases runs out 16/11/12. I have HSBC Premier, Natwest, Tesco & Sainsburys cards, all with zero balance but with credit limits of only £100 to £5000. I only really need 0% until summer 2013.
    Any suggestions please?

I had the same but haven't got anything to transfer.

The card with the 2014 deal has 0 balance but the other 2 cards have one with a promo balance and the other one till Nov 2013 has 0 balance.

I have a cashback card and two plat cards plus their world mastercard.
  • Just done BT of £4500 from Virgin to Barclaycard. 3.9% fee, 0% interest until 01/04/14. They wouldn't increase credit limit though (contrary to the suggestion in the advert they posted me), so I used Tesco credit card for £3087 BT (2.99% 12 months at 0% interest) and paid off remaining £3400. Natwest were offering 3% fee but only 6 months at 0% interest so I've left that at zero balance in case there's a better offer at the end of the new periods. HSBC and Sainsburys had nothing to offer.

My July 2013 2.9% offer (12 months when first offered) is on a Barclaycard Visa, formerly Egg account. £12,500 limit and about £3k balance

BC gave me several 0% offers that I took advantage of. Latest is life of balance at 6.9% so I applied for an MBNA card - ac was closed a few months back - immediate acceptance 0% 20 mos 2.5 % fee. Large limit.
