good morning all, been awhile since i've been to the boards, just finished uni and started a new job, having to live of my part time wages for one month (got paid today and my wage just covers bills and fuel to get to work eek!) so no spending for me!! so today I'm going to eat from the cupboards, go to the gym and shower there afterwards, then this afternoon I'm going to re-claim my travel expenses from uni ... not much use to me at the moment but should help in time for chrimbo !! have a good thrifty day everyoneget rid of all the pounds by summer !!
weight loss 3/42 lb
Debt from 1st March:
Was -£8900 NOW-£5000 PAID- £3900
Get rid of the weight, pay the debt, then get myself a campavan! :T0 -
Afternoon, everyone!
So many good tips today, again! I wish I had some to offer, but everyone already seems to be doing them! =D
Today's the first day of the half term holiday, so it was straight to the assignment this morning!
- NSD!
- Breakfast was Special K, from the free box I won yesterday!
- Lunch was Soup that I made the other week. Tastes delicious, I've probably got enough for about 20 servings!
- Refusing to go into town! There are things I want to buy, but I think they can wait until tomorrow.
- Got my 'Try me Free' money back from Ocean Spray. I was expecting a cheque, but I got coins. They had this odd-- packaging. A piece of card around them, and like cellophane stuff keeping them in.
- Swagbucks
- WooHoo bingo! (That will take ages!)
- Dinner from stores0 -
Hi everyone,
I had a great time last night, just what I needed to cheer me up! Very MSE too
Thanks for starting us off DNMS, hope you get the weekend you desire.
Ally, glad you had a fab yet MSE time!
Southernbelle & all the other ebayers - Good luck with your ebay sales.
Tulip - I use OnePoll, Valued Opinions & Ipsos. Yougov took me well over 2 years to claim the £50 payout....never again!
Young_un - Fingers crossed your test results are ok.
Katie - Of course it is! The more the merrier.
Ollie - You're very good, usually I manage to lose the receipt or simply forget the whole "try me free" thing & never end up claiming it
Today I have/will:-- Food from stores
- Made use of free water/milk at work
- Free lunch of leftovers from last night, delicious! & so filling I may not even need a full dinner.
- Dinner from meal plan (Veggie risotto) or possibly just some cheese toasties!
- Log calories using free app - haven't done this for at least a week now! Really need to get back into it...
- Charged phone at work
- Check online banking
- Surveys
- Declutter a bit & lots of flylady
- Heating off
- Daily clicks etc on Sw@gbucks
- Look for mystery shopping opportunities now that I have been accepted

- Worked out what we can pay off the evil CC B, a personal best of £1400!! I won't pay until Sunday just incase we go over budget tomorrow as we're going to London...if we see something someone may like for Xmas then we will get it. Currently we are not planning to buy xmas presents until the start of December so we can put as much towards the CC as possible to ensure we pay less interest, although I did buy one last night for DH as it was on eBay so couldn't wait, remembered to use cashback

- Working at my second job tonight, need to be up earlyish so means I can't drink afterwards

Just caught up on yesterday's thread...
Ally, I'll search for you on FB later if I remember! Only got 1 "Small things" friend at the moment & would be nice to have a few more as this lovely lady is very good at reminding me to enter comps
Carrielovesfanta, hope you see this! I have not got a second interview, but no one official has said anything yet!! It's down to 1 colleague & an external candidate. It would be nice to have been told by the appropriate people though...
I am really sorry to hear about your pet, that's so awful
I love anything cute & fluffy so I really feel for you, hope you're ok considering.
Ziggy, thank you for the hugs
